About the Author:
Ken Krogman
Ken Krogman is the creator of the Texting Tails Series, a beloved children's picture book series built on a wonderfully original premise: dogs who communicate by texting each other on cell phones. Before turning to children's literature, Ken built a wide-ranging career as a teacher, coach, sporting goods retail manager, and professional in the video display industry working with colleges and universities. His entrepreneurial drive led him to establish a High School Sports Television Network, a venture that showcased his talent for connecting audiences with compelling stories.
Ken's pivot to writing for young readers grew naturally from his lifelong love of exploring different perspectives and his engaging conversations with Sophie, the real-life dog who inspired his stories. The Texting Tails Series, including Texting Tails: Sophie's Trip To The Farm, channels Ken's playful humor and upbeat energy into adventures that entertain kids ages 4 to 8 while sparking their imaginations. Sophie's world, where dogs text, travel, and get into lighthearted trouble, reflects Ken's belief that the best children's stories are equal parts fun and heart.
